How does this work?
Place Your Order.
- Only ONE custom magnet order per cart.
- Whether you have a design or need a design, select the design option best suited for you. More details on design options here.
- Choose your backside branding option that best represents your branding requirements. More Backside Branding details here.
- Select whether you'd like a Digital Proof. They are not required but digital proofs are included with your order.
Upload Artwork.
- Artwork is considered your completed printed design or the design elements that make up your completed design, like a logo, QR code, or images.
- Artwork is not required to be submitted at the time of placing an order.
- If artwork is not submitted when placing your order, simply email artwork to Orders@TheBaldShop.com. please include your oder number in the subject line. There is no time limit for sending artwork at a later time, your magnet supplies will be reserved for when we receive your artwork.
Approve Digital Proof.
- A digital proof (or soft proof) is an electronic, pre-press simulation of your design sent to you for final approval before printing. It allows us to work together to verify layout, text, and color accuracy and more without needing a physical sample. It acts as a final checkpoint to catch errors in colors, images, and text.
- A Digital Proof is included with the purchase of your custom magnets.
- If we are designing your completed artwork, your order WILL go through the Digital Proofing process.
- Requesting a digital proof adds an additional step, and when not attentive, the proofing process can easily be the longest step.
- Please allow 2-4 business days to receive a digital proof via the email that was provided during the ordering process.
- If satisfied, submit approval to move onto the production phase. You are responsible for approving your proof.
- If you need a few corrections or changes, simply leave your comments on the proof page, then select "Request Changes"
- Once digital proof has been sent, If approval or requested changes are not sent within 14 calendar days, magnets will be produced “as-is” from last sent proof. If this occurs, we cannot be held responsible for any errors.
- If you requested changes, a new digital proof will be sent within 1-4 business days, repeat steps 4-8 until everything looks great and the digital proof is Approved.
- There are unlimited revisions for our Digital Proofs. Don't just like your magnets, we want you to love your magnets.
Production.
- Once your digital proof is approved, your oder will go into our production queue.
- If you did not request a digital proof, your magnets will immediately go into our production queue upon receiving your order and artwork
- Due to the custom nature of our magnets, orders cannot be canceled once production begins.
Shipping.
- At the time of ordering you can request Full Order Delivery or Rolling Shipments.
- Rolling Shipments are great if you want to start distributing or using your magnets right away. We’ll ship your order in smaller batches as your magnets are handcrafted.
- Full Order Delivery is perfect if you’re not in a rush and prefer a single shipment. Your full order will ship together once all items are completed.
- You’ll receive further information like tracking and shipping partner once your magnets have shipped.
Delivery.
- Knock Knock! Your custom magnets are ready for immediate distribution.
- Upon delivery, if your magnets arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 72 hours of delivery with photos of the catastrophe and we’ll gladly send replacements or issue a refund.
- If you were delivered a catastrophe, we'll send a return label to take the mishaps off your hands. You MUST send the mishaps back to receive refund or replacements.
Do I need to have my artwork at the time of placing my order?
No, whether you have a design or need a custom design made you can submit artwork later by simply emailing Orders@TheBaldShop.com. Include your order number and name/business name in subject line. Be sure to attach artwork so we can get production started.
If you have your artwork already, simply upload your completed design with your order.
Do I need my own design?
Of course not! You don't need to have a design already made. If you have an idea of what you'd like that's a good start. We can create a custom high-quality look designed to boost engagement for a one-time setup fee.

Design fees are issued per design. When re-ordering magnets with the same design, no additional design fees will be necessary.
What is the difference between the design options?
Im creating my own design, what are some recommendations on my completed artwork?
To ensure a near perfect print we recommend the following:
- Bleed: 6mm or 1/4" margin outside the final trim line.
- Safe Zone (Margin): Keep important text and logos at least 5mm inside the trim line to prevent them from being cut off.
- Resolution: Ensure all images and graphics are at least 300 DPI for high-quality printing.
- Color Mode: Design should be in CMYK format (preferred), RGB (acceptable).
- File Format: Preferred file format: PNG. Other accepted file formats are PSD, JPG/JPEG, and TIFF.
What is Backside Branding?
How do I submit my artwork for my order?
Wheather you have a completed design or have the essentials (logo, QR code, etc.) for us to design yours; simply upload all files at the time of placing your order.
If you're having trouble uploading, or just need to send artwork at a later time; simply place your order without uploading anything. Then email your artwork to Orders@TheBaldShop.com. Include your order number in the subject line.
There is no time requirement for submitting artwork, magnet supplies will be held separate to complete your order.
What is the process for a digital proof?
If you request a digital proof, please allow 2-4 business days to receive a digital proof via the email that was provided during the ordering process. Review content included in digital proof.
If satisfied, submit approval to move onto the production phase. You are responsible for approving your proof.
Sometimes we make mistakes, sometimes you make mistakes. Sometimes things just don't look the way you imagined. No problem at all! We just want you to love your magnets, and we'll work with you to get them looking the way you intended.
If you need a few corrections, simply leave your comments on the proof page, then select "Request Changes"
If we haven't heard back from you after 14 calendar days, we will move onto the production phase with the design "as-is", and we cannot be held responsible for any errors.
What is the return policy for custom magnet orders?
Our goal is for every customer to be totally satisfied with their purchase. If this isn't the case, let us know and we'll do our best to work with you to make it right.
We do not accept returns or refunds for buyer’s remorse or incorrect selections for magnets that are custom-made to order.
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 72 hours of delivery with photos of the catastrophe and we’ll gladly send replacements or issue a refund; we'll also send a return label to take the mishaps off your hands.
You must send the mishaps back to receive refund or replacements.
Due to the custom nature of our products, orders cannot be canceled once production begins.
When will I get my order?
Production time vary depending on order size and other orders that are also in the production queue. We are a two man team, and produce all magnets in house.
Slightly Exaggerated Production Time:
Up to 250 magnets - up to 3 business days
250 to 500 magnets - up to 6 business days
More than 500 magnets - up to 10 business days
If requesting a digital proof or a custom design, these require additional time and separate from production and shipping time frames.
At the time of ordering you can request Full Order Delivery or Rolling Shipments. Rolling Shipments may speed up the process of receiving your first bunch if you need some magnets in a hurry.
We work quickly to hand-make and ship your order as soon as possible. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with further information. Delivery times vary depending on your location.
Standard Delivery vs. Rolling Shipments
Standard Shipping (One Full Order Delivery)
Best for customers who want everything at once.
Your full order will ship together once all items are completed. This ensures you receive your entire order in one delivery, packaged and ready to go.
Perfect if you’re not in a rush and prefer a single shipment.
Rolling Shipments (As We Create)
Best for faster access to your magnets.
We’ll ship your order in smaller batches as your magnets are handcrafted.
For example, a 1,000 magnet order may ship in increments (e.g., 200 at a time), with deliveries spaced a few days apart.
You keep your place in the production queue—we simply send items out as they’re completed so you can start using them sooner.
Perfect if you want to start distributing or using your magnets right away.
Even when selecting Rolling Shipments, smaller orders may be crafted in one day. Meaning your order may still ship all at once.

Where are the magnets manufactured?
Our custom magnets are printed and handmade locally in the greater Detroit, Michigan metro area.
